There have been many times where I’ve wanted to get something done in the terminal but I forgot the options or syntax of a tool at the time. I then proceed to Google the solution which takes time away from working. Thankfully there is a nice tool available as a Snap package on Ubuntu (and Ubuntu Server) called cheat

sudo snap install cheat

This tool gives you a nice readout of some of the most common shortcut keys and commands for getting things done quickly. No need to bust out the browser and search through a StackExchange thread to find what you need. The tool is easy to use, too.

cheat <name-of-tool-or-command>
e.g.
cheat vim
cheat sed
cheat youtube-dl

If you’re on Ubuntu or Ubuntu Server, give it a shot. I think you’ll like having access to some easy shortcuts.
